FoRgEt ThE sAfArI zOnE

    Tyna was a very soft and kind Misdreavus. She was always friendly towards others and had never attempted to frighten anyone. Today she was sent to scout out the Safari Zone, although her trainer repeatedly told her it was alright if she didn’t find anything. She still felt worried, though. She had to find something. With all the trouble being caused by Team Mythic and many of the stronger Pokemon on the ranch settling down to rest for a while, it was good to get as many powerful Pokemon around as possible. Even Tyna herself wanted to train. As she floated in place, quietly observing, her neck pearls twinkled in the sunlight and a slight bliss overcame her.
    

“Why are we all trapped in an endless daze?
    We seem to be lost in a never-ending maze.
    Have you heard the sound of a Houndoom’s cry?
    When its all alone and the Pidgey can fly.
    There once was a place where the young ones would play.
    They would enjoy the most lovely of days.
    But then the chaos tore this world apart.
    And broke the most fragile and saddened of hearts.
    In the river the little ones drown.
    And the thought of such sadness brings on a frown.
    Are you lost in the sadness and fear?
    That is alright because now I am here.”

    Before Tyna could end her song, a quiet male voice echoed in, “Did you make up that song on your own? It’s really pretty.”
    Tyna jumped, releasing a beam of psychic energy as she panicked, thinking she was under attack. Her beam of colorful energy seemed to bounce harmlessly aside, though, and as she was able to get a better view of the newcomer, a cream and blue sheep Pokemon with thick ears and a long tail, she noted that the Pokemon appeared to be protecting itself with a shiny screen of light. “Oh goodness! I’m so sorry,” apologized Tyna. “You really scared me. I thought maybe you were Team Mythic… and I don’t really want anyone to hear me sing either so…”
    The Mareep inhaled, releasing a bolt of electricity into the sky. Tyna immediately felt frightened and inched back. The Mareep shook himself out and blinked, his beautiful pink eyes seeming full of serenity. “Forgive that. Sometimes we build up too much electricity and need to let it out,” he said with a smile. “My name is Alphonse. I’ve seen you around the ranch.”
    “Same with you,” Tyna answered gently. “You don’t really talk to others, do you?” Alphonse stared. “I mean… I’m sorry.”
    Surprisingly, Alphonse shook his head and answered, “You’re fine. I’m just not good with other Pokemon. Besides, if anyone should be sorry, it should be me. I kind of creepily followed you out into the Safari Zone when I noticed you heading this way.” Alphonse lowered his head, his cheeks flushing a little. “I wanted to ask you something, but I can see your busy, so I’ll go.”
    Tyna felt upset when Alphonse turned his back to leave, his thick ears lowering. “No, wait!” called Tyna, catching Alphonse’s attention. “Come back. I’m not trying to be mean. I just get really nervous when people hear me sing. I’m really quite rubbish at it, so it’s a little embarrassing.” She smiled slightly.
    Alphonse tilted his head to the side, his eyes flickering. “Rubbish? No,” he began. “I think you’re really good.” His ears stood up a little. “Did you make up that song yourself or did someone teach it to you?”
    “I kind of just sing what comes to mind,” admitted Tyna softly, her smile widening. “You really liked it?”
    “Yes, I did,” answered Alphonse, stepping closer to Tyna. “You shouldn’t be so modest. You’re really a beautiful Pokemon. Oh look at me. I’m such a fool. Look, I’m sorry I bothered you and wasted your time. I’m just going to return to the ranch. Please don’t worry about me… I… I…”
    “Was there something you wanted of me?” asked Tyna quickly, trying to catch the Mareep’s attention before he could flee. “I want to know.”
    Alphonse swallowed, lowering his head. “I don’t know. Oh…” He glanced her way. “You’ll think me a fool. We hardly even know each other.”
    “Try me,” Tyna quickly added, grinning at the little Mareep as he stared quietly at the young Misdreavus.
    Alphonse then began, “Well, you see, our trainer kind of, well she… There was this other trainer who wanted a Mareep. I’m a Mareep. So, I could make more Mareeps, because the trainer wanted a Mareep.” He swallowed roughly, lowering his head and closing his eyes, grunting in frustration. “Oh I’m such a fool, such a fool. Look at me standing here trying to explain this to you and you probably think I’m insane and, well, I just-”
    Before Alphonse could finish, Tyna pushed herself forward and planted her lips against his. She caught a slight tingling sensation, but pressed on. Alphonse’s eyes widened as Tyna’s closed gently. When he realized she wasn’t letting up, he softly closed his eyes as well and pushed back towards her. He could feel a chill coming off of her, but somehow he liked it. As the wind howled around them and bushes rustled, the two Pokemon shared a kiss, building up a happiness within both of their hearts. Tyna had never kissed another Pokemon before. Nor had Alphonse. Neither of them had ever had someone express interest in them. Now they had their lips locked and Tyna knew exactly what the Mareep wanted. She knew and somewhere inside, she felt excited.
    When Tyna finally drew back, Alphonse looked up at her, his pink eyes wide and his cheeks flushed the same colour. “Yes, I’ll breed with you,” Tyna softly said.

Combined a Safari Zone with some training for a couple of Pokemon I'm breeding. I'm actually just doing this for someone else so they can get a Mareep. I decided to choose my Misdreavus to breed alongside my Mareep because she was 100 potential as well and it would make getting a 100 potential clutch easier. However, after drawing the above picture, I really like the idea of them as a couple, so that's probably going to remain. I wasn't going to do a picture and a story, but I couldn't resist the urge to draw a Mareep and Misdreavus kissing. They're so sweet! Anyways, I hope you like it and whatnot.
